THE WORLD’S SHORTEST DINING REVIEW
Toledo, Ohio-based Marco’s Pizza, founded in 1978 by Italian immigrant Pasquale “Pat” Giammarco, is a rapidly growing chain utilizing a franchise model.
Mindful of all the coupons that area residents have been receiving, I visited the Marco’s outlet in Inspirada, where I ordered a thin-crust onion pizza and sampled my dining companion’s mushroom pizza.
Here is my one-sentence review:

Hollywood film and television makeup legend Michael Westmore delighted a large audience at last week’s Lifelong Learning Club (LLC) meeting, recounting tales from his career as an Oscar-winner (for Mask), his 18 years with the Star Trek TV franchise, and his personal relationships with silver-screen actors such as Shelly Winters and Elizabeth Taylor.

Several readers reminded me that I had not done a brief follow-up to my recent publication of Paul McCartney’s video of his song, "Coming Up."
I had asked if readers could tell how many characters McCartney plays in the clever, satirical video.
The answer is 10: himself at the microphone, two guitarists, a bass player, a keyboard player, a drummer, and four brass players.
Last but definitely not least, I want to express my continued appreciation for your support.
Slowly but surely, we are growing, having now surpassed 475 subscribers.
As a few readers have reminded me, growth would be faster if I had a social media presence on Facebook, X, Instagram, etc. But I don’t.
If you do, however, especially with an SCA audience, you are welcome to assist with our growth by giving Anthem Diary a plug. All folks need to know is where to find us: dberman.substack.com.
Thank you!!!
